Migjorn Beach

If you are looking for more space and tranquility, Playa de Migjorn is a great option. Migjorn beach is 6 kilometers long and is ideal for those who want to enjoy a full day at the beach. Along the beach you will find several bars and restaurants where you can enjoy Mediterranean food and a cool drink to alleviate the summer heat.

Saona Cove

Saona cove is surely the second best known in Formentera after Ses Illetes. Located on the west coast of the island, this beach has crystal clear waters and a spectacular view of the cliffs that surround it. It has several beach bars, one for eating and another on top of the cliff where you can have a beer with great views of this beautiful beach. It is a quieter beach than the previous ones and less crowded where you can be a little quieter, although in high season, it is complicated in Formentera. Many of the excursions that leave from Ibiza to Formentera stop at this beach or Ses Illetes, if you are interested in getting to know these beaches, it is a very good option to carry out some of these excursions.

Platja de Llevant

If you are looking for a busy beach all the time, Platja de Llevant is an excellent choice. Located at the extreme east of the island, this beach like all the others in Formentera is home to crystal-clear waters and incredible beauty. Furthermore, the beach of Llevant is less crowded than the beaches of Ses Illetes and Migjorn, so it is brilliant that you want to be more intimidated on your beach day.

Cala des Mort

Last but not least is the Caló des Mort. This beach is one of the smallest on the island, but it is a true hidden gem. Caló des Mort is located in a small bay on the west coast of the island, it is an authentic wonder of a place, which very few people know about. If you have sensitive feet you should wear appropriate footwear as the beach is made up of small stones instead of sand, which can be a nuisance for many people.

To finish, Formentera is surely the island with the best beaches in all of Europe, nothing to envy any other in the Caribbean. It has a wide variety of beaches that will best suit your tastes. Try to visit all the beaches mentioned here, to enjoy and get to know Formentera in depth!
